USA 1991 Hawaii State Numismatic Association (HSNA) Bureau of Engraving and Printing Visitors Center Certificate with 25c Flag stamp, special cancel and embossed $50 Bank Note.

The Honolulu State Numismatic Association (HSNA) souvenir card features the intaglio imprint of $50 (face), series 1874, of a Legal Tender, United States Note and a blind embossed impression of the "Statue of Freedom" to the left of the note. The left side of the note features the oval portrait of Benjamin Franklin and on the right side an arresting engraving of the
allegorical figure of "America" is pictured, gazing over a shield. Charles Burt engraved Franklin from a portrait by Duplessis. He also engraved the allegorical figure of "America." The blind embossed figure of "Freedom" was created from a photograph of the plaster model, used to cast the bronze statue which surmounts the Dome of the Capitol. The Statue of Freedom was designed by Thomas Crawford in 1856 and cast in Washington, D.C. by Clark Mills in 1858.
Placement of the nineteen foot six inch statue was completed December 2, 1863.
